As I walk my path something nudges me to come to stillness. To take a moment and open my eye. Honoring the guidance I close my own and look around me.
I observe a fissure I have not seen before, a divide that perfectly splits the path in half. Like a guiding line, however, the purpose here is different.
I widen my gaze and see the Universal dance playing out before me. On the left of the divide is Darkness, black charred landscape, fire, embers floating through space, the air moving sharply. On my right is Light, abundant green nature, vibrant leaves and rosy petals flowing and moving softly, gently on a warm summer breeze.
I take a moment to breath it in… I watch as an ember drifts across the divide and transitions seamlessly into a magnificent rosy petal.
Life & Death, Order & Chaos, Light & Dark. They go hand in hand like the inhale and exhale of breath. One does not and can not exist without the other.
They appear to be on opposite ends, displaying a contradictory dichotomy of being yet they are the same.
There is Life in Death, Order in Chaos, Light in the Dark and the same is true for the reverse.
How delicious to note that the divide isn’t a divide at all, rather a point of unification. It’s not acting as an agent of delineation, but a force of convergence where the two become one. Both existing in the same place in complete vibrational harmony, because after all they both come from the same Source.
How lovely to realize this exists within our space and reality as well.
If only we open our eye and our hearts to see it…
